Open Arms of Minnesota

Please plan to arrive at Open Arms 10 minutes prior to your shift to get checked-in and put your personal items in lockers.

You MUST wear flat, CLOSED-TOE, stable shoes to be allowed in our kitchen(tennis shoes are preferable). Please wear comfortable clothing and leave your jewelry at home. We also request that volunteers wear shirts with sleeves, volunteers wearing tank tops may be asked to wear a chef’s coat.

Open Arms has a parking lot adjacent to our building.  If the lot is full, there is ample free parking on the street on Bloomington Avenue and 25thStreet.

Individuals who are sick OR have someone in their home who is sick with a stomach bug in the last 72 hours will be unable to volunteer in the kitchen.

Finally, as you plan for your volunteer shift, please keep in mind that all ingredients are paid for by donations and no donation is too small.  We rely on your generosity so we can continue serve more clients in the Twin Cities!  http://www.openarmsmn.org/donate/
