BED & MATTRESS PROJECT - A BIG THANK YOU!!!

Dear Rotarians,

On behalf of the board, staff and residents of St. Anne’s Homes, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Rotarians in the Minneapolis and Cape Town who generously contributed to make our dream of new beds come true. Your action speaks volumes about your commitment to those most vulnerable.

This project not only beautifies St. Anne’s Homes but more importantly it adds value to human life and dignity, understanding what these women and children have been exposed to.

The goal of St. Anne’s Homes is to continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of abused and destitute women with their children. With the help of supporters such as you, we will continue to see improvement in victim empowerment and domestic violence. More importantly, through our programme, we are breaking the cycle of violence.

We can safely say that we have a 60% to 70% success rate of empowering women and have many examples of women who have transcended abuse and have established themselves as meaningful fellow citizens. Of the 100 women that come through our shelter per annum, 99% come from previously disadvantaged communities.

Thanks once again for your generous donation.

In gratitude,

Joy Lange
