St. Paul author Brian Freeman will talk about his transition from the communications department of a law firm to award-winning crime/suspense novelist. His books have been sold in 46 countries and 18 languages and have appeared as Main Selections in the Literary Guild and the Book of the Month Club. Freeman's Jonathan Stride series is set in Duluth, and the fifth book came out this spring.
